In the thrilling opening race of the 2024 Formula One season, Max Verstappen's teammate Sergio Pérez completed his first Grand Prix victory at the iconic Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday.
The race began with a strong start for both drivers as they navigated the challenging streets of Monte Carlo. Verstappen made a commendable run to take the lead early in the race but was soon caught up by Pérez, who had been building momentum throughout the session.
As the race progressed, Pérez continued to dominate, maintaining a comfortable gap between himself and Verstappen. The Ferrari driver was able to keep the pressure on throughout the race, pushing Verstappen to the limit in several tight corners.

Despite the incident, Pérez emerged victorious, securing his first Grand Prix win since 2018. Verstappen finished second, while Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top three.
